2TB NVMe m2 SSD Upgrade in Gaming PC

A customer brought their gaming PC to us because their existing 500GB SSD was almost full. Despite being able to recover some space, game downloads are typically huge so we suggested an upgrade to a 2TB m2 NVMe SSD. The new drive would give plenty of space for future Steam downloads.

To keep the exact settings and games that were already on the PC we cloned it using Macrium software and a USB m2 convertor. When the clone completed we swapped the 500GB SSD for the 2TB and tested it.

The clone had exactly the same partition as the old drive so we used a disk partition manager to move the free space onto the C partition leaving 1.5TB free for plenty of gaming.
