We had previously installed 5 HikVision 4K CCTV cameras for our customer in Bromley. Every year we schedule an appointment to perform maintenance on the system to make sure it is running smoothly and fully updated.

We downloaded and updated the NVR to the latest version which also included HikVision’s new GUI. Each camera was then upgraded to the latest firmware from the Hik portal. 4 of the cameras were the same turret style but one was a bullet camera that had a zoom function. This was upgraded separately.

We checked to make sure the system was still recording and no hard drive issues were occurring.

Finally the frame rates were slightly adjusted to allow for smoother playback via streaming on phones etc .
