We were contacted by someone who wanted their elderly relative to be able to communicate with them via the internet. The relative had no internet so they had arranged for a new broadband connection and a Facebook Portal machine. We set up the new router first and tested speeds of over 40Mbps. Next we setup the Facebook Portal machine with wifi. We had to set the user up with a Facebook account first which we were able to do by using the browser on the portal. When connected we tested a video call to the users relatives. The picture and sound was excellent on the 15 ” LCD. The smart camera follows you around the room and the screen tilts to wide mode.
