We had previously fitted 6 cameras for our customer in Bromley so after 1 year we offer a maintenance check. We upgrade the NVR and Camera firmware to the latest version. This is done by downloaded the appropriate file for each model number from the HikVision EU Portal. Once downloaded we copy to a USB drive and insert into the NVR where we can upgrade.

Once upgraded we turned on the new H265+ feature which helps with compression, bandwidth and storage whilst still delivering a HD image. We also turned on the Audio features of the cameras for this client as he hadn’t wanted it previously. This means that the built in microphone can record and playback any sound or noise it hears.
