A customers family contacted us because their elderly Dad wanted to stay in closer contact with them via the internet. We had an unused 5 year old Lenovo Laptop but nothing else. We advised that they would need to get Broadband in place first and then we could assist with setup and training.

We advised that as the Laptop was 5 years old and Windows 10 would be out of dat that an SSD Hard Drive upgrade would be beneficial as it would make the Laptop much faster.

When BT Broadband was installed we visited with new 240GB Crucial SSD. We replaced the old drive and installed the latest version of Windows 10 in no time.

After this we setup Chrome, an email account @outlook.com and Skype using the same Microsoft account.

We then gave the family all of the details and practiced using and answering Skype calls.

As a user who has never touched a Laptop before it was a challenge for him to use even the keyboard and touchpad but after 7/8 practice skype calls we we making progress.
